Most Overrated city in Hawaii. A Traveler's Warning.
I love Hawaii and this is my 3rd island to visit. Oahu, is more than likely an island I'll never return to because it just isn't the lush paradise most people imagine. Too crowded, too many bums, fast paced and one giant tourist trap.

Getting Weird at the Museum of the Weird Austin TX
Took a short 30 minute tour at the Museum of the Weird in Austin TX. Kind of a neat circus side show place for those of you into the freaky side of life and not the freaky side you think. It's part Ripley's Believe it or Not, part Madam Tussaud's and part side show freaks. While some think $12.00 admission is a bit steep some may enjoy weirdness. While I don't necessarily enjoy the genre of hor...

Monmouth Plantation, Natchez MS and Overnight Stay
Had one overnight stay in Monmouth Plantation in Natchez MS. Room that I chose rented for $295.00 per night. I visited during the winter so the grounds and gardens were not as pretty as in the spring when everything is in bloom and green. If you decide to pay for a tour, it is a bit pricey for the length of the tour. The overnight stay was nice and the rooms were nice and clean. Monmouth Planta...

Normandy D-Day Tour

I put this old footage together from several years ago so it's not the best. Normandy is a northern region in France and the location of one of the most famous battles in WWII. There are many locations but this tour consisted of Arromanches, Longues Sur Mer, Normandy American Cemetery and Pointe Du Hoc. This tour was informative, historical and very much emotional. I recommend anyone who can af...

Such a shame you only spoke about the American involvement and visited only Utah and omah beach
Just went yesterday, absolutely devastating but powerful experience. The end section explaining the rise of Nazi’s in Germany before the family left sounds SO SO similar to what is happening in the United States with Trump and the anti-science/education religious right movement using him as their ticket to fascism.
But I prefer Ms. Corrie Ten Boom a true Christian and a DUTCH resistance heroine. She was a "conductor" on an underground railroad that got Gypsies, Jews and resisters out of the more populated parts og the Netherlands and to places in Friesland where it was safer to hide.
She reminds me of Gervase of Canterbury as he too kept a chronicale of his times.
What time of year did you go?
What a beautiful home with fascinating details.

They now have virtual tours for those who can’t manage the stairs. My friend did that tour and said it was haunting too.

The father's stubbornness made the family go through all this, having fought in the previous war, he would have the right to leave for another country with his family without anything happening to them. But he preferred to stay and hide so as not to leave the country and his assets. The irony is that he was the only one of them who survived.
Except for the fact that he tried to leave with his family, several times. He tried to move to Switzerland, the UK, America and several other countries. He couldn’t because the doors were closed and the documents were burnt down in Rotterdam when Holland was invaded. Don’t blame a man who tried his absolute hardest to keep his family together and safe.
That is absolutely untrue. In actuality, the only visa he was able to get was for himself, because he was a veteran of the Great War. He didn’t use it because he wasn’t about to leave his family. Blaming innocent Jews for the evils that were inflicted on them is sick.

Fun fact about annelies marry frank she died at 16 years old at bergen belson from typhus fever in 1945
Im 13 and i cant even imagine what it would be like to live through that
Lol imagine complaining about being handicapped….in Anne frank house…
The tragedy that happened to Anne Frank is heartbreaking, but when I consider the atrocities committed by her descendants, the Israelis, against the Palestinians today, I wouldn't sympathize with her so much. This is the conclusion I reached after visiting Anne Frank's house in person in February 2019.
You do know that Anne’s descendants don’t exist cause they all died right? The closest one is Buddy Elias who died in 2015. He had children but from what I know they live in America. This way of thinking is the exact reason on why Israel needs to exist. Anne has absolutely nothing to do with it and to come on here and bitch about it purely based on her religion is nothing less than obnoxious. All she wanted was to live in peace. Lastly, Otto Frank literally fought against discrimination against every group. He had nothing to do with Israel nor did he really speak about it. What he fought for is quite literally the opposite of what Anne’s so called “descendants” were apparently doing.
@@shrekxrohankishibe Don't avoid the issue or read once more carefully what I wrote. Anne Frank and all his family is Jewish and also victims of Holocaust. I said descendent of her, it means Israeli also carry out almost same level of the holocaust against Palestines. I don't support Israeli neither Palestines but, in maximum objective opinion, Israeli (most of all extreme radicals) look like Nazi in the second World War.
@@DeathPenaltyforCatmomcrazy that hamas started all this in October
@@Disneymagic24 If you say about only Hamas, you missed more essential thing in this matter. Can't you (or Don't want to) think "Why" did Hamas become the extreme radicals, and "Where" did come from the motivation of this war Hamas started? Yes. Hamas started this war. But why? Because they are crazy Islamic fanatics?

"when war is over i will be a beautiful girl, and i will wear a golden dress" -anne frank She didnt make it but atleast her dream came true of being an famous diary writer
How is it a downside that it's not handicap accessible? It would be a downside if they made such a historic place handicap accessible. Sound dumb asl
She was beautiful, smart, intellectual, clever, and full of life. Anne Frank is not part of history . She is the HISTORY herself.
Rip dear anne❤. Im not Jewish but my adopted uncle joel was and he made it out of Auschwitz. I miss him especially with reading annes diary , and joels book too. Just search for joel edelman and Auschwitz. Ty anne for writing this at such a painful horrific time, and my uncle joel, known as joe the barber, for living through it again. I lost touch over time, but am looking to find him via holocaust museum.

Super cool video
I remember visiting Ann Frank house in 1985. It was so sad that i left crying.
So this is literally the exact house anne frank live in?
No, it was Otto Frank's manufacturing facility. Noone actually lived there. So, the 8 people in the attic (or rather house in the back) were free to leave the hidding place during the night and walk through the house.
Mai 2012 in Ingolstadt Klaas Carel Faber.
Enjoying your videos! What time of year did you visit? (Loved your Normandy video. Am going in October.)
In India class 10th English chapter Anne Frank chapter is available
Been living here for 8 years. Cool to see the hype and attention the town is getting since they started this
You managed to ignore the heavy presence of signage asking for no photography in the museum. Judging by your angle, you went out of your way to hide your camera. Have some respect. I'm not shocked by the fact you're American.
Ever thought some people may not have the means to see this place. And by means I mean monetarily or physically. A $1500 airplane ticket plus hotel and food is unattainable for some. Plus, with this site being such a treasured place, why cant everyone enjoy it, even if its just online. If a photo or video is disrespect we'll just have to disagree.
@@NegativeNomad There is plenty of approved information, photos and documentaries available online that Anne Frank Haus and Otto himself have approved for this very purpose. It does not take away that you had blatant disrespect for a national monument of another country. There is a reason why they ask visitors to refrain from photography during orientation. There is signage everywhere at the entrance and throughout the museum. It's always the Americans that can't seem to help themselves by not following the rules outside of the US. Lastly - the museum's purpose is not for people's "enjoyment" as you say. It is to reflect on the suffering of the Holocaust and to inspire people of today to actively combat prejudice and discrimination. Go to Disneyland if you want enjoyment!
She will always be alive in my heart. 🪻
